We take special care in representing the fossils on offer as good as possible, with clear photos and detailed descriptions. Of course it should be taken into account that the material we offer is very old and has been fished up from the sea bed. This means that there is no such thing as a 'perfect fossil', as there are almost always some minor imperfections. So all descriptions are relative and offered on the basis of our long experience with this material. If we state that something is in good, wonderful, excellent or perfect condition, this does not mean the item has no imperfections at all, but that it is in an exceptionally good state of preservation compared to the quality of an average fossil.
If upon arrival the item does somehow not conform to the description, please contact us with in 10 days after the item arrived and we will resolve the situation. Otherwise all sales are final. If you have any questions or doubts on an item, please do not hesitate to contact us.
We are a fossil company, aimed at fossil collectors and thus we have no experience in the polishing or cutting of ivory, molars or bones and can and will not advise on any of these procedures. Please note that we only guarantee the quality of our items when they are kept in the state they are offered in. If items are polished, cut or anything else is done with them other than display, we can no longer guarantee their quality.
