On offer is a fantastic piece of tusk of a Woolly Mammoth from the Pleistocene era. This is the middle part of the tusk, the base and tip are missing, but otherwise it is in excellent state of preservation, as seen in the images. A crack has been professionally retored, but otherwise no restoration whatsoever. This tusk piece is of beautiful colouring of gold, brown and black ivory and beautiful contrasts of colour and patterning. The black and white section of the ruler in the image represents 10 cm / 3.9 inch. This piece has been applied with a matt finish, but it is also possible to order it with a glossy finish.
