The item has a wonderful curve and on top of that has some absolutely stunning white, gold, grey and brown colouring and fantastic patterning. This tusk is in intact condition, nearly complete, only the tip is missing. A crack has been professionally repaired, otherwise no restoration whatsoever. The black and white section of the ruler in the image represents 10 cm (3.9 inch). Tusks from juvenile mammoths are much rarer than those of adult animals.
