On offer is a fantastic inner core of tusk of an adult Woolly Mammoth from the Pleistocene age. The outer layer of bark is missing but otherwise this piece is in wonderful state of preservation, with even the tip still being present, as seen in the images. It is of beautiful colouring of mainly white, brown and black and with stunning patterning. A matt finish has been applied to this piece but it is also possible to order it with a glossy finish. No restoration whatsoever. Judging from the size this would have belonged to an adult animal. The black-and-white section of the ruler in the image represents 10 cm / 3.9 inch.
Presented on a custom-made metal and natural wood stand and ready to display.
This fossil has been legally exported from Russia.
