On offer is a fantastic piece of tusk of a Woolly Mammoth from the Pleistocene era. This is the middle part of the tusk, the base and tip are only partially present, but otherwise it is in excellent state of preservation, as seen in the images. A lot of river sediment is still present on the tusk. No restoration whatsoever. This tusk piece is of beautiful colouring of mainly brown, white, gold and grey ivory, and a beautiful curve. The black and white section of the ruler in the image represents 10 cm / 3.9 inch. Judging from the circumference, this would have belonged to an adult male Mammoth. This piece has been applied with a matt finish, but it is also possible to order it with a glossy finish.
This piece is presented on a custom-made metal and natural wood stand, and ready to display. Truly a work of art in its own right.
