On offer is a beautiful base of a tusk of an adult Woolly Mammoth, in excellent condition. This is the tusk piece where it attached to the animal's skull, hence the hollow part. This tusk base is of beautiful colouring of mainly black, white and gold ivory and with stunning patterning. Judging from the circumference this would have belonged to an adult female Mammoth. A matt finish has been applied to this piece, but it is also possible to order it with a glossy finish.
