On offer is a half tusk of a juvenile Woolly Mammoth from the Pleistocene era. This beautiful piece measures 71 cm (27.9 inch) over the curve. This is the tip end of the tusk, the base is missing (where it attached to the skull). Although not completely intact and there is some damage to the tip, otherwise it is still in wonderful condition, as seen in the images. This tusk piece is of beautiful ivory of mainly light and dark brown colouring and with stunning patterning. A crack has been professionally repaired, but otherwise no restoration whatsoever. The black and white section of the ruler in the image represents 10 cm / 3.9 inch. This piece has been applied with a matt finish, but it is also possible to order it with a glossy finish.
Presented on a custom-made stand with dark finish and ready to display. Truly a monumental and especially displayable fossil, which will make a fantastic addition to your collection!
