On offer is a nearly complete wonderful tusk of an adult female Woolly Mammoth from the Pleistocene era. The tusk measures over 103 cm (40 in) over the curve and is a truly wonderful piece. The item has a fantastic curve and on top of that has some absolutely stunning white, gold, brown and black colouring with fantastic patterning. This tusk is in excellent state of preservation, there is only a little damage to the tip, as seen in the images. Highly recommended. As this piece was very well preserved in the Siberian permafrost, it is in as found condition, with no restoration whatsoever. Much more impressive in reality than the photos can convey. The black and white section of the ruler in the image represents 10 cm / 3.9 inch. This piece has been applied with a matt finish, but it is also possible to order it with a glossy finish.
Attractively displayed on a custom-made stand with black finish, and ready to display. This is a museum quality fossil, but also an object of great beauty and a great conversation piece.
This has been legally exported from Russia.
