We are proud to present this exceptionally rare and fantastic fore leg of an adult female Woolly Mammoth from the Pleistocene era. This composite left forelimb of a female Woolly Mammoth consists of a humerus, radius/ulna and the manus (right hand or forefoot). All skeleton elements used are original, there is minimal restoration (approximately 3% and the last five phalanges of the five fingers are cast, as shown in the last image). These bones are all in excellent state of preservation, with very minimal restoration (see last image). The bones of the leg have been profesionally mounted according to the latest scientific ideas, in close collaboration with leading Mammoth experts.
This piece is truly of museum quality, and much more impressive in reality than the photos can convey. Once in a lifetime opportunity and highly recommended. Truly shows how incredibly large these animals could become and highly recommended for university and museum collections.
