On offer is a complete and beautiful tusk of a Woolly Mammoth from the Pleistocene era. The tusk measures over 85 cm (33.4 in) over the curve and is a truly marvellous piece. The item has a nice even curve and on top of that has some absolutely stunning white, grey, brown and gold colouring and beautiful patterning. The item will not only be the jewel of your collection, but will also make for a very impressive addition to your home. The pictures speak for themselves! This tusk would have belonged to an old female Mammoth and is in wonderful and intact condition; the tip was damaged during the animal's lifetime, but was beautifully rounded from subsequent continued use. There is no restoration whatsoever. Most interesting piece. This piece is truly exceptional and of great beauty which makes this a museum quality tusk. A matt finish has been applied to this piece, but it is also possible to order it with a glossy finish. The black-and-white section of the ruler represents 10 cm / 3.9 inch.
Attractively displayed on a custom-made stand with dark finish, and ready to display. Not only a museum-quality fossil, but also truly a work of art in its own right.
This piece has been legally exported from Russia.
