Upon request we can deliver a skeleton of an adult male mammoth, similar to the skeleton in the photograph shown here. All bones of the skeleton are of the same preservation and color, and found in the same locality. The skeleton will consist of c. 185 different bones and skeletal parts. In its final assembled position the skeleton will be approx 5.15 metres long and 3.3 metres high. The maximum width will be c. 1.45 metres at the pelvis. All bones are original; if there is restoration this will not be more than 10%. The tusks are not original but perfect casts from tusks of the Yarkov mammoth. The process will be supervised by Dick Mol, ensuring a 100% scientifically correct final result. Highly recommended for museum or university collections or high-end private collectors.
North Sea Fossils is proud to be one of the very very few companies in the world who can deliver complete skeletons. We have assembled a number of complete mammoths already to international museums.
