On offer are a partial ulna, humerus and vertebra of a European brown bear (Ursus arctos) from the Pleistocene era. We cannot stress enough how rare fossils of this impressive species are. Most bear fossls which are offered on the market belong to cave bears, rather than the very rare brown bear. These fossils belonged to an adult animal and are in partial but still attractive state of preservation, as seen in the images. No restoration whatsoever. Very rare pieces, wonderful for the specialized collector. The black-and-white section of the ruler in the image represents 10 cm / 3.9 inch.
