On offer is a wonderful hornpit of an unidentified species of Wisent, the predecessor of modern day American and European bison. This particular species is smaller than the Pleistocene species of Bison priscus. It is usually found together with specimens of Meridionalis and Alces latifrons, and therefore must be older than 600,000 years. Heavily fossilized and in nice state of preservation as shown in the images. Highly interesting piece for the real collector. The black-and-white section of the ruler in the image represents 10 cm / 3.9 in.
Shipping: $ 40 for the European Union, $ 65 for the rest of the world.
