On offer is a beautiful partial thoracic vertebra of a Woolly Mammoth from the Pleistocene era. The Mammoth's thoracic vertebrae were located in the chest area of the spinal cord. This example is in good condition with only a few usual minor damages, as seen in the photographs. No restoration whatsoever. Judging from the size, this belonged to an adult animal. The black and white section of the ruler in the image represents 10 cm / 3.9 inch.
