On offer is an almost complete and beautiful tusk of a juvenile Woolly Mammoth from the Pleistocene era. The tusk measures 29 cm (11.4 inch) over the curve and is a truly marvellous piece. The item has a wonderful curve and on top of that has some absolutely stunning white, gold and brown colouring and particularly good patterning. Beautiful state of preservation, there is just a little damage to the tip, as seen in the images. No restoration whatsoever. The black and white section of the ruler in the image represents 10 cm (3.9 inch). Tusks from juvenile mammoths are much rarer than those of adult animals. This piece has been applied with a matt finish, but it is also possible to order it with a glossy finish.
