On offer are two rare partial humeri of a European wolverine (Gulo gulo) from the Pleistocene era. This is the left and the right humerus. The Gulo gulo wolverine or glutton was the largest terrestrial mustelid, belonging to the order of Carnivores, dating from the late middle Pliocene. We cannot stress enough how rare fossils of this interesting species are. These fossils belonged to an adult animal and are partially preserved, but otherwise in good state of preservation, as seen in the images. No restoration whatsoever. Very rare pieces, wonderful for the specialized collector. The black-and-white section of the ruler in the image represents 10 cm / 3.9 inch.
