On offer is a superb lower jaw of an adult Woolly Mammoth from the Pleistocene era. This piece still includes the original two M3 molars, still locked in the jaw tissue. This piece is in very good and nearly completely intact condition, with many details of anatomy still intact and as such very rare as intricate pieces like this rarely survive in such good shape. No restoration whatesoever. This jaw must have belonged to a very old mammoth, which had reached the end of its natural life. The black-and-white section of the ruler in the image represents 10 cm / 3.9 inch.
Presented on a custom-made metal stand with black finish and ready to display. This is not only a truly beautiful item of great rarity but will also make a great conversation piece.
