On offer is an almost complete tusk of an old female Woolly Mammoth from the Pleistocene era. The tusk measures 142 cm (55.8 inch) over the curve and is a truly beautiful piece. The item has a wonderful curve and on top of that has some absolutely stunning black, grey, brown, gold and white colouring and fantastic patterning. This tusk is in a very good state of preservation. A crack has been professionally repaired, otherwise no restoration whatsoever. The black and white section of the ruler in the image represents 10 cm (3.9 inch). This piece has been applied with a matt finish, but it is also possible to order it with a glossy finish.
Attractively displayed on a custom-made wooden stand with natural wood finish, and ready to display. Truly a work of art in its own right, and a great conversation piece.
