We are proud to present this magnificent and incredibly rare skull of an adult male Woolly Mammoth from the Pleistocene era. The skull was found in Ukraine with fantastic tusks also found in Ukraine and they have been professionally and beautifully reconstructed with a lower jaw also found in Ukraine which was missing in the original skull. Both skull and lower jaw have two M2s and two M3 molars, a fascinating insight into how the molars changed over the animal’s lifetime. No restoration whatsoever, which is very unusual, so all pieces in very good condition.

The result is an absolutely stunning skull with enormous tusks. This would have belonged to an adult alpha male Mammoth. Many anatomical details in fantastic state of preservation, and the tusks with beautiful colouring, mostly of black, grey, white and brown ivory. This piece is truly of museum quality and highly recommended. Intricate and large fossils such as this are very rare due to their fragility. Once in a lifetime opportunity.

This piece is presented on a custom-made acrylic plexiglass stand and is ready to be displayed. Much more beautiful than the images can convey and also a wonderful conversation piece. A work of art in its own right!
