On offer is a complete and beautiful tusk of a Woolly Mammoth from the Pleistocene era. The tusk measures 120 cm (47.2 in) over the curve and is a truly marvellous piece. The item has a nice strong curve and beautiful elegant shape. The fantastic colouring is mostly black but also wonderful and rare blue and grey ivory, and with stunning patterning. The item will not only be the jewel of your collection, but will also make for a very impressive addition to your home. The pictures speak for themselves! This tusk would have belonged to an old female Mammoth and is in wonderful and nearly intact condition, only the tip of the tusk is missing. A crack has been repaired as seen in the photos, otherwise there is no restoration whatsoever. Most interesting piece. A matt finish has been applied to this piece, but it is also possible to order it with a glossy finish. The black-and-white section of the ruler represents 10 cm / 3.9 inch.
